The yarn is a blend of 65% wool, 25% polyamide, and 10% cashmere. The fine cashmere fibers add a special lightness and exclusive softness, while the wool’s natural properties add warmth. The polyamide makes the yarn durable and helps the projects keep their shape, letting you enjoy your projects for years. In addition, the wool is mulesing-free, meaning it comes from sheep that have been sheared without using the stressful mulesing method.
Cashmere is known for its insulating and moisture-absorbing properties while still feeling silky smooth against your skin. This makes the yarn ideal for socks, but also accessories like beanies, scarves, shawls, or finers knits where comfort and luxury are key.
With 100 grams (3.5 oz) per skein and a length of 400 meters (437 yds), you’ll have enough yarn for a standard pair of adult socks. Please note that the longer you make the sock, the more yarn you’ll need.
As the icing on the cake, the yarn is machine washable at 30°C/86°F for easy care when the clothes are used daily.
